Echoes of the Dark Night: His Hunting Target

The enemy he was raised to hate may never have existed.

Late at night in New Orleans' French Quarter, a routine hunt traps Aaron Clay, ace of the Night Hunters, with Victor Eli, heir of an ancient vampire bloodline, in the sealed chamber of an abandoned church. With a gun to Victor's head and the countdown still running, the stone door slams shut. Ancient symbols on the walls begin to bleed, and a dark mark appears on Aaron's wrist, almost identical to his enemy's family crest. The hatred he has carried all his life, his memories, and the “last words of his parents” his adoptive father taught him word by word, all collapse in one night.
